Frisco, Texas has become one of North Texas's most vibrant, sought after communities for both residential and commercial relocation. The mall opened to a record-breaking number of shoppers on August 4, 2000. The shopping center is located at the northwest corner of SH 121 and Preston Road. The center is also home to an NHL sized ice skating rink, a 24 screen AMC Movie Theater with state of the art surround sound and stadium seating. The community hosts events like the annual Daddy-Daughter Dance, the annual Mother-Son Dance, the Easter Extravaganza, the holiday Santa Skate and the Frisco Freedom Fest. America's favorite pastime can be enjoyed at the new state-of-the-art Dr.Pepper/7up Ballpark where RoughRiders, the Double-A Texas Rangers affiliate, call their new home. Frisco has also been designated as the new home to Major League Soccer's Dallas Burn. A $65 million soccer facility is being erected and the anticipated opening is 2005. It will feature a 20,000-seat stadium, 17 soccer fields serving amateur players, and a 600-seat stadium and turf field dedicated to high school soccer and football. The City of Frisco also has 19 park sites, spanning more than 550 acres for families to explore and enjoy.

Known as an up-scale community, Frisco prides itself with having some of the best restaurants in the area. This robust community has more than 60 restaurants catering to all international favorites. For a special elegant dinner out, Dallas is just a short distance with world-class fine dining.
